my system is an amd 2800+, 512 meg of pc-2700 ram, 120gig hd, cdrw, dvd. Its not an over the top pc but its a leep forward from the p2 700 mhz i had used. Benchmarking with the bone stock system with 3d mark2001 se 4495 not to bad, but when I installed the fx 5700 Ultra it jumped to a little over 14,000 I cant tell you the differance in games and even application. Really good buy or upgrade for a...
Strengths: The NV35 chipset is much more compatible with DirectX9 than previous nVidia chipsets and has much better compatiblity with OpenGL than Radeon 9600XT. Very overclockable with extra cooling for future.
Weakness: Only 128-bit memory bandwidth which limits the potential of its DDR2 memory modules. Large and heavy card, requires xtra ATV connector. Could use better DrirectX9 FSAA and anti-aliasing.
Really good buy or upgrade for a mainstream video card that is pretty future-proof. Games run really smoothly and very few glitches. Make sure you use the 53.03 Forceware by nVidia.

Strengths: High resolutions, fast refresh rates, powerful card with lifetime warranty.
Weakness: Crap Game Bundle(That's being REALLY picky)
A big improvement over the FX5600 and FX5200 garbage. Delivers near FX5900 performance at a reasonable price. I've got $400-500 to blow on a FX5900Ultra, but this card does the job. Leader of the pack as far as mid-ranges goes!

Strengths: 900mHz data rate,128-bit ddr2 memory interface,cinefx 2.0 engine
Weakness: None that I can think of!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the best mid-range card out right now!!! It absolutely blows the ATI 9600XT to pieces. I think you get alot of bang for your buck with this card. A mind-blowing explosion of light and color with no jagged edges at lightning-fast speeds and high resolutions. I played MaxPayne 2 the first day I bought this card and was amazed with the detailed textures and spectacular lighting the game...

Great value for the investment....
Strengths: Awesome...only had it a couple of hours and can see significant improvements from my previous PNY 5200 Ultra!
Weakness: Verh heavy card
Great value for the investment. VERY happy with purchase (and rebate via Citcuit City)! Noticed most improvement when I run Flight Simulator 2004....greater frames per rate greatly reduces the previous "shakey" scenery. Shading (clouds and ground) really look "enhanced". Thought I had a great card with the PNY GeForce FX 5200 Ultra....but THIS ones blows it away!
