I bought this battery as the second battery for my G-500. I already have a charger BC-600. I want to be sure that this will fit. The generic battery may be cheaper but I want the peace of mind (especially after that I heard some replacement battery explode in cellular phones). It arrives very quickly and I tried it in the camera. It works fine. Although it is already fully charged so that I haven't got a chance to recharge it. But I alreay put it into the charger and it fits fine. I have absolutely no doubt that it will function alright.
