Good Power supply at a good price!

This is a very solid PSU. My previous power supply was getting old and was causing my system to crash fairly often so I started reading reviews and tests on popular power supplys and chose this model.
This PSU is modular in design, which means you only need to plug in the power lines you need to the PSU and there isn't a nest of wires in your case to disrupt airflow.
The power output on the rails is very stable with very few fluctuations, providing consistent power to all your components. It is also SLI ready, meaning when you are ready to make the leap to dual GPUs, this can handle that no problem.
One other nice thing about this PSU is that the motherboard power connector has the new 24-pin plug, but it also has a break-away portion so it can be used with the older 20-pin motherboards without the need for a longer extension converter cable.

TopGuaranteed to fail in 18 months
Strengths: It comes with a 3 year warranty so you can return your failed unit after a year and get to relive the experience.
Weakness: They aren\\\\\\\'t built to last. Do a quick online search to see how often these units fail.
Customer service is also very poor. It took them two weeks to eventually respond to my emails and voicemail. And two more weeks for my replacement unit to arrive. Save yourself the time and money and get something else.

This device from Hiper is already well-known to us. In our live stress test, this power supply survived a difficult and demanding 24-hour test. Its only weakness then was its -12V rail, whose voltages climbed unacceptably high under heavy load conditions. Solid PSU
Strengths: This PSU has a nice paint finish. I also like the fact that it has 2 fans inside.
Weakness: The cabling isn't as flawless as it might seem.
When I got this PSU I thought the cabling in my computer would be a lot cleaner, but that just isn't the case. Aside from that, I haven't had any problems with this power supply. Runs great and is very quiet.
